- Walking without assistance
- Says Mama and Dada to right parent
- Plays games with hands (Patty-cake and Peek-a-boo)
- Walks holding on to hand or furniture
- Use creative speech
- Understand simple one step instructions
- Indicate wants by gesturing
- Walking well without assistance
- Stooping from standing position
- Saying two to three words other than Mama and Dada
- Imitates others’ behavior
- Takes a few steps alone or attempts to stand alone
- Says one word other than Mama and Dada with repetition
- Understand your words
- Jabber own language, word-like sounds
- Stoop and stand successfully
- Walking more than a few steps alone (many don’t until after 14 months)
- Scribbling with crayon
- Increasing number of words used repetitively
- Responding to one-step instructions
